The Monster Project 2015

My friend Katie Johnson founded The Monster Project while we were still in college. She'd have her mom's 2nd grade class draw monsters and my classmates and I would recreate them in our own styles to encourage kids to keep drawing in a country where arts programs are being cut. About two years ago Katie and a few of us from UNT banded together to reach out to professional designers, illustrators, animators, and artists alike to expand the project to more schools and states. 

It's been an absolute joy, and easily the project I look forward to every year <3
